 
The 14th annual Tea for Two Hundred garden party gala benefit is scheduled for July 21, 2012. The proceeds of this event will benefit the New Milford VNA Hospice Program and the Interfaith AIDS Ministry of Greater Danbury Held in the beautiful gardens at the Washington Depot home of Mr. Gael Hammer and Mr. Gary Goodwin, the tea is widely considered Litchfield s social event of the season. We are honored this year that Ms. Mia Farrow, actress and political activist, and a select group from the Connecticut Gay Men's Chorus will be joining us as Honorary Co-Chairs. Past Honorary chairpersons have included, Joan Rivers, Laura Linney, Christine Baranski, Polly Bergen, Faith Middleton, Larry Kramer and Special Guests Topher Grace and Oscar de la Renta The event will include a silent auction, best hat contest, tarot card and palm readings. The Connecticut Gay Men's Chorus will perform a medley of songs, Pianists Hank Milligan and Eric Haglund will play a repertoire of standards. Also appearing will be a Brazilian band and salsa dancer.

Tickets will also be available the day of the event at the front gate. White attire is requested of attendees. Their mission is to improve quality of life by easing pain and providing comfort. Using an interdisciplinary team approach, they provide the primary caregiver with well trained support. Interfaith AIDS Ministry of Greater Danbury, Inc. (IAM) is a nonprofit agency offering unconditional critical support services to families facing the nutritional and physical challenges of living with HIV/AIDS while providing vital educational and prevention programs that response to the Greater Danbury Community.   |
